I received a follow up call two days after my initial CT Cardio Angiogram Scan asking me to come back. I was told that a possible blood clot had shown up on my initial scan and that the team at the AEC wanted to make further investigations. After a further CT scan of my lungs it turned out this indeed was the case and I was prescribed anti-coagulants. I just want to say how grateful I was for all the professionalism and care I was given during my short stay there. Having talked to a couple of staff members, I was aware of the long hours each individual puts in. Bearing in mind I did not arrive at the AEC until late afternoon and I was diagnosed and started on my treatment before being discharged later that evening. Thank you very much one and all for all your professional care.
