"Appointments impossible and eConsult poor"

About: Jubilee Surgery

It is almost impossible to get appointments without using the emergency on the day service.

I have now tried the on line booking system every day for 14 consecutive days and have not yet been offered an appointment.

Phoning and holding for ages at 8am is not possible as I am working at that time.

I know the NHS is busy but the other family memebrs in my household are in another surgery locally and they can always (and I do mean always) get seen within a week so why can this surgery not do this?

If I could move there I would do so immediately.

I have tried eConsult and it starts out OK but then ends up with a call to say come for an appointment but then I can't book an appointment.

I will have to resort to inappropriately using the on the day urgent appointments (having waited weeks already trying to get a routine appointment) or paying to go private.

Please, talk to local colleagues about how they run their surgeries!

Also the required field in this form that needs me to state when I visited this surgery is somewhat ironic as I can't get in!

Will just put this month as I'll have to count eConsult...
