"Overall experience of Doncaster gyecology"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology

Being waiting over a year for biopsy. I first attended gyecology out patient were I saw a lady doctor twice.a plan was put in place for me to attend the day surgery unit for me to have a biopsy and endometrial oblation I was put on a waiting list . I also talked about all my other medical conditions and a plan was put in place I returned to out patients after three hours of waiting my lady doctor had gone on leave and wouldn’t b returning for a few months. So I saw another doctor that was arrogant who made me feel a inconfiniance to him and didn’t want to discuss my other medical conditions which would effect my surgery he also changed my procedure to something I didn’t want when I went to see pre op nurse I told her I wasn’t happy and I didn’t agree with what the doctor had said so she arranged for me to go back to out patient and see another doctor I returned to out patient to see other doctor were I waited two hours after my appointment time were I seen a junior doctor she change procedure back to endometrial oblation and reassured me because of my other medical conditions that they would make all relevant arrgements t meet all my medical needs. The Day of the op . Wrong concent form no medical records no arrangement made for my medical needs the anethatist team cancelled my procedure as they didn’t have the right equipment or booked me a bed to meet my medical needs. Anethatist said he could put me to sleep as it would put me at undue risk because the correct arrangement had not been made unhappy frustrated and upset .
