About: The Great Western Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had to visit on a Saturday following referral from 111. There were a fair number of people there waiting,

I was seen promptly for triage/admission and told there was currently a two hour wait.

1 hour 50 mins later I was seen, my problem thoroughly examined, advised on treatment and what to do in the following week to progress a treatment path.

Never a great experience visiting hospital departments when unwell of course, but I felt it was well organised and efficient and a great comfort to know it is there.
