"My first ever visit to hospital."

About: St Albans City Hospital / General surgery

I suffer with the condition "Spinal Stenosis " I was recommended to receive injections in my lower back, with the intention of reducing the pain and discomfort I have experienced for some considerable time.

I have never needed to visit hospital for my own health,I have of course made many visits

when my wife was in hospital.

So today,it was my first experience of visiting hospital for my own health.

I was of course having a procedure that was relatively straight forward.

I have to say that from the time I arrived at the Day Surgery I felt comfortable and at ease.

Everyone from the nurses to the Doctors(Surgeons). who performed the procedure were friendly and informative,I felt at ease and totally trusting.

I understand these injections take time to bring benefits,I hope they do,but the friendliness and professIonalism from all the staff will remain with me.

Thank you,all of you.
