"Excellent care by the whole team on G2"

Was an inpatient on ward G2 at the start of May following an abdominal hysterectomy and bowel resection care of two Consultants. I felt so safe and cared for from the moment I stepped into TAU all the way through to my discharge. The anaesthetist and staff in the anaesthetic room chatted to me and put me completely at ease before I went to sleep which I really appreciated and when I woke up they were still there reassuring me. On G2 - the staff always introduced themselves to me and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble for them. In fact everyone I met from cleaning staff to Consultants /nursing staff were extremely caring and an absolute credit to their profession. I really can't thank you all enough.

I was also readmitted via G1 after a few days and again received fantastic care from the nurses / Mr Baxter until I went home again.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this ward / hospital to anyone needing gynae surgery.
