(as the patient),

I just want to say a massive thank you for the outstanding care that I received during my labour at Tameside Maternity Unit.

I especially want to bring to your attention the amazing care myself and my son received from midwife Steph.

From the minute I was admitted on to the labour ward, I felt so safe in her care. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she explained what was happening every step of the way, which gave me an air of calm and confidence too. She was extremely professional, I just can’t praise her enough and would like you to pass on my sincere thanks on behalf of myself and our son.
