My father had a blood transfusion at Wexham Park. He is elderly and has a heart condition and I have to say that the nurses were excellent. They took the time to explain at all times what was going on, were meticulous in their monitoring and kept checking in with him regularly to ensure he was ok and comfortable. All this was done with a smile.
It made the whole process a lot less nerve wracking than it could have been. A big thank you to the nurses for his care.
