"Faulty equipment and long wait."

About: Charterhouse Surgery

On 18/05 I had an appointment to see the nurse for a spirometry test and apart from the fact that I had to wait over half an hour before I was seen it turned into a bit of a disaster as she and a colleague were unable to get the software to work and the test had to be abandoned which I think took the time I was at the surgery to an hour. Then today (29th) I returned for an appointment to discuss blood test results as requested over the phone by the surgery. I checked in and was told to wait in the waiting room which I did but however after 45minutes I decided to find out what was going on and a helpful receptionist advised me to return to the waiting room. I waited for another 5 to 10 minutes and then had to go, two main reasons firstly being that someone was waiting for me in the car and secondly I had already spent the morning at Orpington hospital and as I'm self employed

I can't afford to waste time waiting on doctors that don't appear, so I informed the receptionist and left. I have been a patient at this surgery for what must be over 25 years now and I can honestly say I have never known it to be this shambolic even under the previous regime.
