"Saved my leg"

I had broken my ankle and few years ago and had had lots of operations excluding ankle fusion. A year after my operation my ankle become swollen red and sore.went to GP who said it was to be expected so went home.next day felt very poorly went to Cumberland centre was seen within minutes by a lovely HCA who said it was infected he got a nurse to look who told me to go to derriford immediately and gave me a letter so I could be seen straight away.within an hour in was in theatre as I had a life threatening infection and if I hadn't been seen at the Cumberland centre when I was i could have lost my leg or worse. Can't thank you all enough. Without the staff knowledge and quick thinking things could have been very different for me now. I'm back on my feet after a long stay and two operations. Thanks soooooo much Cumberland centre.
