"Shocking!"

The receptionists behave like doctors, saying that blood results are fine when they are OUT OF RANGE. They also don’t seem to take my concerns very seriously in that I ask for appointments to be booked for quite urgent things (recurring iron deficiency and hormone treatment which needs to be controlled if I am pregnant) and even though they say the appointment has been booked I then discover that no appointment has been made at all and I am back at the beginning again and have to wait another week or two in advance. This is ridiculous.

Also, the GP I see is meant to be following guidance set out by consultants regarding my treatment for my 2 concerns; do they read the letters from the consultants regarding where my levels should be? NO. My iron stores are TWENTY POINTS below the recommended range my consultant had set out and the GP IGNORED this fact.
