"Recent Consultation"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Endocrinology

Had a recent review with one of the lead Consultants. Felt very small as I was spoken down to like a child, and treated very badly. Was given no time to give my own opinion on my diabetes which I’ve had for over 20 years and was shrugged off and patronised when I enquired about new treatment or help in the future. Very unhappy with the whole ordeal and I feel sorry for the staff who have to work under him. Doctors, especially a Consultant, should know how to speak to someone with respect and without an air of cynicism and disregard for helping others people, in this case me. Will refuse to see this person again for my next appointment.
