"Enquiry about a private consultation for daughter."

I rang the hospital for advice just now regarding a mole that had grown suddenly and was sore and lumpy on my daughter. . I was expecting for a sympathetic ear and a kind voice but no. When I asked a question I was told abruptly “if you let me finish” I find this condescending attitude extremely rude and I don’t expect to be spoken to in that manner. I told her after that comment not to bother as I would not take my daughter there now. Receptionists are the voice of the business whatever it is and play an extremely important role getting business through the door. This woman clearly thought she was “very important “ almost too good to be there! as I have been to this hospital before I thought that it was a good place to go to get a quicker (paid) appointment.
