"Exceptional care"

I first attended the hospital as an emergency to see this particular consultant over 2 years ago. I had a lot of problems and pain with my eyes. I was very concerned that I would go completely blind very quickly. I was treated immediately and efficiently. At first I had treatment every day where I saw the consultant on the ward to see how I was responding to the treatment. I then saw the consultant weekly in the outpatients clinic . This has slowly gone to every 2 weeks then monthly, then up to 6 weekly visits. On the 8th of May I was admitted to F ward for an operation on my eyes and feel that I must make it public how fantastic everybody was.

I am absolutely convinced that this consultant has saved my sight. The dedication to my care and well being has been outstanding and unwavering. The care I received on the ward was also faultless. How lucky I feel to be under the care of this particular consultant and the team who work with him, they have worked so hard to make sure I have the best possible outcome.
