I was treated at the Foot and Ankle service at Whitegate Drive and had my surgery at the Victoria Hospital by the Podiatric Consultant. I was disappointed with the length of time I had to wait after my GP referred me. The secretaries were not able to provide much detail on when my appointment would be or why I had to wait so long which was frustrating. That said, when I finally had my appointment the team were great. It was very reassuring to see the same faces in my clinic appointments and through the surgery day and aftercare. The level of care was far better than I have experienced in the private sector in the past. My foot feels significantly better and I am now able to get on with my life. I would like to thank all of the staff at Whitegate Drive for looking after me and explaining the options to me. You can tell they all enjoy their jobs and work well as a team. Thank you all.
