Car park machines on 2 levels were out of order as well as the machine in the foyer. No signage to say how to pay for parking. I'm not a regular visitor to the health centre so didn't think more of it until I received a parking fine for £60. I telephoned to reception to ask their advice. They told me that at least one payment machine would have been working (??where?) How many patients have the time and mobility to walk around a car park looking for the one that's not out of order?! They stated that they had made no record of the fact that the machines weren't working (someone must have known as they all had out of order signs on them) and that they had not informed Smart Parking. I am appalled that the staff involved with the site did not have the foresight to deal with this before fines were issued. I will not be paying and I will be in touch with the Health Centre to deal with it when my appeal is been rejected.
