"Well cared for, everything explained and treated..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

What I liked

Great, friendly, caring staff, always helpful, and hard working with not just myself, but everyone else around as well. Nurses were always attentive and making sure of our comfort.

What could be improved

Having a range of books and magazines for people who were not prepared for admittance to use on their spare time would've been good.

Anything else?

As I did not have a chance, could I thank all the people who cared for me during my stay: my Doctor, the surgical consult in A&E, the doctors and nurses of A&E and Codicote ward - I've forgotten the names of due to being zonked on meds. And a huge thank you to the ambulance crew who brought me in and took it easy over that massive speed bump in the entranceway. You're all a credit to your profession.

Many thanks for your feedback and we're glad to see that you're back on the mend. We will, of course, pass on your thanks to our teams in the QEII's emergency department and Codicote ward, as well as our ambulance service colleagues. We hope that you continue to make a full recovery.
