I have a life-limiting condition. The previous consultant rheumatologist was excellent, the service was efficient and reliable. I was seen by the new consultant in August 2017 and he advised me that because of a flare up in my condition I would need to be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Nine months later I am still waiting. So is my GP. I need advice on my medication, bilateral joint pain, and lack of energy. The message I left for the rheumatology call back service in March remains unanswered. I have heard similar reports from other patients. The current rheumatology service appears to have abandoned it's patients, while the quality of the service has declined dramatically. Doesn't Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have a duty of care to it's patients?
