What I liked
I am receiving excellent care at this hospital.
I saw a consultant who is excellent, kind, invited me to ask any questions I had, explained everything, treated me with respect and dignity and, as a result, I feel in very safe hands.
The consultant has gone out of her way to help me during a frightening time and has helped to make it easier.
(After arriving at the outpatient clinic, I only had to wait for about 10 or 15 minutes, which is very good).
There is a specialist nurse who has been very helpful, supportive and informative, and saw me at short notice once when I was upset about my condition.
When I had a MRI scan, the person who was looking after me made me feel very welcome, explained everything and was personable and highly professional. I was treated with the utmost kindness and dignity.
When I had an EEG I was also very well looked after and was even given a brand new comb and allowed time to sort out my hair, after glue removed, before leaving the room.
It is a huge relief to be in safe hands, after some rather bad experiences elsewhere. I am massively grateful to everyone involved in my care at The National Hospital.
What could be improved
Cannot think of anything.
Anything else?
My experience at this hospital has been very positive and I thank everyone at The National who has been involved in my care to date.
"Very well looked after by kind, competent,..."
