My father was admitted to Grenoside Grange Hospital (GI Ward) just before Christmas. He was extremely well cared for, in spite of his very challenging behaviour.
All of the staff were excellent in their demeanour and attitude towards my father and went out of their way to assist him in any way they could. The highlight of his stay at the hospital was a 65th Wedding Anniversary party that we were able to hold in a social area outside the wards, but within the hospital complex. It was the final opportunity for all my father’s family & friends to see him in person. It was a wonderful two hours and will be the abiding memory of many of those who attended.
Special mention for the person in charge of the GI ward, Marie -she was incredibly helpful and understanding on each occasion we visited.
