I am a nurse however today I was a patient at the above clinic and had a vacuum biopsy. From the moment I entered the clinic until I left I felt safe, comfortable and cared for. The radiographers and nurses were 1st class - they all embodied the NHS 6 C’s completely and I would like to thank them wholeheartedly. They were attentive, informative and especially caring towards me. I knew what was happening every step of the way and appreciated the comforting handholds I was given along the way. The staff made a very traumatic procedure as bearable as possible with their compassion. The cup of tea and biscuits was an added touch which was warmly appreciated. Your service and dedication to patients is commendable. It was so lovely, being a nurse I knew what was going to happen, but today I wanted to be treated as a patient and I certainly was. I’m proud to be a nurse in the NHS if services like this are indicative of how patients are treated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Colette Bell xxx😘
