About: Scartho Medical Centre

Can someone give me a reasonable answer as to why there is a 3 week wait to get an appointment to see a GP. I tried to book one online and thought it was a mistake, so I called the practice to be told this was normal and 3 weeks to see any doctor is usual!

Surely as the opening hours are all day this can be avoided?

We are currently experiencing longer waiting times for GP appointments due to a shortage of GP capacity, which is being felt at both a local and national levels. We do have a wide multidisciplinary clinical team at the Practice who may be able to assist you with your problem. Should you wish to pursue that, please contact the surgery and request to speak to the triage team.
