"Fantastic staff"

I have had 2 operations at the Bristol eye hospital in the past 18 months - one under general anaesthetic and the other under local. I have also had numerous outpatient follow-up appointments.

The consultant and his team who performed the surgery to treat my detached retina, and the procedure to treat my other eye - partically detached retina, were all fantastic. The time, care and attention I received before, during and after the operation and procedure were exemplary. I was impressed that upon passing me in the corridor months later, the consultant remembered my name and asked how I was doing.

I am incredibly grateful for their work, which ultimately saved my sight. Their professionalism and care are second to none.
