"Class A colposcopy team"

I just wanted to send my strong recommendations for the services at Leighton and especially the Colposcopy department. I had to attend this morning owing to a potential health scare. There has been a lot of death in my family linked with Cancer and when some result of a test came with some worrying data and I was called to hospital I was absolutely dreading my visit. There was nothing about it I was looking forward to.

However on arrival this morning, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, I was then seen EXACTLY ON TIME and the nurse assistant who took me to my scanning room was truly warm and friendly. The nurse who then examined me had such a kind and considerate voice and approach to the whole process, then going beyond the call of duty as she helped me dress after the procedure (I was also enduring a sciatica this morning). Their gentleness, efficiency, professionalism and warmth had me close to tears but with joy and even pride.

I have the greatest regards for that team and really feel that they should have the highest praise one could give. I am no longer in apprehension for my follow-up appointments

That is all from me as I slink back to bed exhausted but oh so grateful for how the whole thing was managed this morning.
