"My superb Care experience"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

I have always been a huge supporter and admirer of the NHS and all it encapsulates. Last week I was subject to how incredible they truly are. I was unfortunately taken ill and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and subjected to a variety of extensive Tests and Procedures over 2 days. I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Ambulance Crew, The A&E Assessment Dept, The Cardiologists, The CAT Scan Team, The Acute Receiving Unit , The XRay Dept, The Blood Clinic and not forgetting the Wonderful Doctors, Nurses and Ancillary Staff and anyone I may have forgot to mention. All the above mentioned Staff are truly Magnificent. Thank you & Bless you all. πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ’•πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

PS  Would you please pass this onto NHS SCOTLAND .

Dear John R,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on your treatment in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This must have been a frightening experience and I hope that you are on the road to recovery.

I will ensure that your comments are shared with the staff who were involved in your care; everyone will be delighted to hear such appreciative words. We all want our patients to feel comfortable and reassured when they are using our services.

Best wishes,

Antje

Dear John R,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us all on CareOpinion. It sounds like you had a worrying two days with having to be admitted and by reading the various different departments you have mentioned, you have been subject to a lot of tests. I do hope that you are making a full recovery.

I am glad to read that our staff and the staff within our partners in NHS Scotland have all treated you in the manner in which we expect and if you would like, I can pass these kind words to the crew that attended you and their manager. In order to do that I will require the date, time and location of when we attended you as well as your name. You can email me at scotamb.feedback@nhs.net and I will be more than happy to do this.

Kind Regards

Alan
