I visited the Pulmonary Hypertension Unit today with my 87 year old father. We met with a Dr. I was incredibly impressed by the care she showed my father. She explained in a very friendly manner the tests and possible treatment once the results were available.
Her use of a pictorial drawing made it much easier to understand his problems.
We appreciate the restraints of the NHS so it was great to witness the care he received. All the staff we met were very friendly and certainly put us at ease
