"Made to feel that I was the most important person in the hospital"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I went into day surgery at Wishaw hospital for epidural injections in my back for chronic pain.

The experience was fantastic. From the moment I walked into reception, I was made to feel that I was the most important person in the hospital.

I met with the consultant and he called me by my name and put me at ease straight away.

Before meeting him I also met some nurses, who were exceptional. I specifically wanted to mention Dean who spent some time with me and put me totally and utterly at ease.

My experience was fantastic and I wanted to feedback that the team on day surgery went above and beyond.
