"Quick appointment when needed"

I'd been fortunate not to have needed to visit The Gables Surgery for years, but one morning recently I had what I thought was a very worrying symptom. I got through to reception on the third attempt just after 9am and on explaining my concern I was given an appointment at 10.40am. that same morning.

I was seen by one of the doctors who was kind and professional. He was able to reassure me but advised me to make a return appointment to double-check.

This was my first direct experience with the surgery for some years and I was impressed and happy with the service and care I received.
