"Rude Receptionists & Bad Experiences..."

Ive been putting off leaving a review in the hope that this practice would improve, but after our last visit and conversation with the Receptionist we have made the decision to move to different doctors.

Our 2 year old son is prone to ear infections/tonsilitus etc, the last visit we had with a doctor we were told that our sons “chest was fine, but going to give him anti biotics for a chest infection”

fast forward to yesterday, and our son had a temperature and with him being prone to high temperatures that are not able to be cooled down, we took him to the Doctors. We were told his temperature was fine, nothing wrong with him just a bit of something viral. The doctor hadn’t even checked our sons throat as he must have seen no point. We were even told by the doctor “you should really only bring your son in when its an emergency” making us feel like we are over worrying parents.

Last night, our son had such a high temperature he was jolting, could not talk and was shaking, upon taking him to the Hopsital, we were told by a doctor that our son had in fact got a high temperature, tonsillitis and the early symptoms of conjunctivitis, he is now on anti biotics. The fact that every time we go into the doctors not one doctor checks our sons records, to see that he is prone to infections makes us lack confidence in this practice.

My husband has just called and spoke to a Receptionist (a rude one – as always!) and advised them that due to the lack of care our son has received, that we are looking to move doctors, to which the Receptionist then told my Husband “well to do that you need to fill out a form. Bye” and hung up on my Husband! I have been with this doctors for 27 years, and due to the blatent rudeness of the Receptionists, the lack of care some doctors give, and the overall experience, I can confirm we will all be moving.
