About: Alnwick Infirmary

(as the patient),

I had a very sore throat and a persistent cough and I had followed advice ...

1. self medication, rest and drinking lots of water,

2. appointment with local pharmacist (advised sugar-free expectorant)

3. symptoms worse, so I rang for a surgery appointment ...

- very helpful and knowledgeable receptionist

- appointment with Nurse Practitioner later that day

- antibiotics prescribed

So much better within a week.

Great service.
