"Kilbride hospice"

We were introduced to the hospice through the PSP Association and were encouraged to keep in touch by the staff we met there.   Since then I have experienced such care and compassion not only for my husband but also towards me as a carer.   Because of his illness my husband is unable to mobilise unaided  and so requires round the clock help which leaves me at times tired and just needing to hear another voice.   The staff at the hospice are wonderful and are always accessible to just chat or with practical advice.   They have now arranged for a befriender to sit with him so I can have a much appreciated break from caring.   This was done with sensitivity and thought as are all the services I have received from Kilbride.   Can't tell what a difference the staff have made in our lives.   VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE.
