"Update from 17 April - 3.3 weeks after surgical..."

About: BPAS Streatham CC/Clinic

My review of the clinic of 17 April 2018 remains unchanged - this is an updated to make other people aware that things that can happen.

It's over three weeks since my surgical abortion and I was still experiencing very heavy sporadic bleeding which was scaring me.

I just went to the doctor and they did an internal ultrasound and found that I still had large clots which needed to be expelled (I think the medical term was that I had an incomplete abortion).

They have now prescribed me a low dosage of mifepristone which I have to take two of tonight and two tomorrow to expel the rest of the 'stuff'.

I was one of the unlucky ones who experienced an incomplete abortion, this is not a reflection of the staff or anyone at BPAS Streatham who I thought were great.

It's to make others aware that if you think you are bleeding too much and for too long (which I was) it's better to get checked out!
