"Antenatal classes"

I attended antenatal classes with my husband at the west mobility centre. I found parts of the class useful but felt it was rushed as we were the evening session. We were lucky that we have a good support network in Glasgow but I felt for other people there was no opportunity to meet and chat to other attendees to strike up new friendships and support  which I think is so important after giving birth. I attended the breastfeeding workshop which was excellent but felt that a lot of it would have been useful for my husband to have been present for as this was the toughest part following the birth of our first child.
