"GP referred me to A and E"

About: Kettering General Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had a fairly frightening experience overnight which meant I had to visit my GP on Friday 4 May.

The doctor sent me direct to A and E.

I was there for 3 1/2 hours seeing different doctors and having various tests.

I have to say from the moment I signed in at the desk to the time I left, I had nothing but kindness and help from the different members of staff.

Luckily I didn't need any treatment (it turned out the doctor thought I'd had an episode of sleep paralysis) but I was still treated as someone who needed reassurance.
