when ever I call - they are fully booked!
I start to ring from 8:30am - by the time I get through sometimes (30 minutes or longer) they always say it is fully booked
just want to point something out:
You are only allowed to book appointments on the day !!
- so call it 5 doctors are in on a specific day - how on earth can 1 or even 2 receptionist fill the diary between 9am and 5pm -so 1 doctor with say an average 30 minute slot per patient! would make it roughly betwen 14-20 people to see per day so 100 for the 5 doctors (understading that they all specialise in different medicine etc - but this is a general practice
now unless they have a call centre with agents answering calls to take bookings, it is very unlikely that they will be able to fully book 100 slots in 30 minutes!!!
I mean can you see the receptionist actually answer 100 calls in 30 minutes - I think not!
as for the receptionist - if you really do not like your job - please go and find something somewhere else where you do enjoy . when you have to be made to wait for so long to book an appointment, then turn up on time to find out after 50 minutes of waiting that there is one doctor whom everyone is seeing that afternoon is utter rubbish management and speaking to your "customer/ patient" like a robot is somewhat distasteful!
you are are receptionist - act like one please
I also feel that when you do arrive whether you use the self booking terminal or speak to one of the receptionist - you need to let people know which waiting room to go to and not expect one to know or have super hearing skills, when you are sat on the waiting area near the reception and the doctor seeing you is actually at the other end of the building -
your website requires updating - spend some time on it if possible - or get someone in to do it as some of the hyper links are not working and the site is not secure !
