A while back i became a diabetic, at Lea surgery i was invited to a seminar that gives help to people with diabetes at the Homerton hospital. It was extremely informative and practical. I am so glad the surgery arranged this. The member of staff also showed me kindness by giving me a spare diabetic measuring machine that has proved helpful. I do like alternative medicine because of the lesser side effects from conventional medicine. I greatly appreciate the member of staff working with me and allowing me to choose various options and coming to a compromise. While clearly explaining my condition and any risks i might be taking. I am better able to make my own choices. I feel it is so important that doctors do not have this' I know better than you' attitude ( as in the case of one) Allowing a patient to choose and to be comfortable with his choices is so important. This I have found with the member of staff at the lea surgery. Reception are also patient and caring. Regards Roberto
