My recent appointment was (almost) a joy if you can use that word. My GP, who I felt was rather aloof and rude the last time I saw them, was wonderful. They showed compassion, listened to my woes (it is very hard for me to open up as it is) and treated me with dignity, respect and understanding.
They did not dismiss what I said as being out of hand or indeed a figment of my imagination.
