"Excellent Care"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

A family member was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres by Ambulance.   They were treated in A& E then moved to Ward 2 and latterly Ward 11.   The care and compassion by all concerned was amazing and very much appreciated at a very difficult time for us all, especially our family member.   The bulk of stay was in Ward 2 and the staff, from the team giving out meals, CSWs, nurses and doctors (especially Sandra and Susan who were their one-to-one care providers), provided a much needed caring and supportive environment.   Thank you.

Dear CERS

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience. I am pleased to hear that staff demonstrated care and compassion throughout your relatives' stay. I will share your comments with the wider team and especially Sandra and Susan. Admission to hospital is indeed a stressful experience and I am reassured to hear that staff provided you and your family member with good care and support.

Thank you again for your comments

Best wishes

Lise
