My aunty who is also partially disabled and blind was in a bad situation yesterday (05.05.2018) as was guided to this care centre when in distress with her disabled husband who also suffers from alzimers. Upon arrival to this health care professional place my aunty asked for help and guidance and at the time needed professional bodies to help her with her husband as he begun to act out and panic in a confused state of mind. He was very distressed along side my aunty and she was struggling to keep him safe as well as herself. My aunty was guided to this place as this would have been an environment that she expected abit of help and support whilst phoning an ambulance for her husband. When she approached the reception desk the receptionist was told of the situation to which she very rudely and abruptly replied that the primary care centre was not for mental health people or related issues. My uncle isn't under the mental health, he is just a frail old man with alzimers that needed a safe place whilst my aunty called for medical assistance. The receptionist had poor attitude towards my aunty which naturally made the situation worse escillating the whole situation. In these circumstances abit of compassion would have hone a very long way but instead the receptionist made my aunty feel very upset. Weather it's a primary care centre or a mental health centre if asked for help surely they have a duty of care to assist in any way possible . They're was two receptionist lady's on and although one practically refused to help the other lady was more than willing to assist my aunty and she even leasoned with the police to assist my aunty and uncle. Thank you for the lady who helped but for the other one she is a disgrace to the primary care centre.
