"No follow up"

I am currently attending Barnet Hospital Maternity ward for scans during pregnancy and since my 20 week scan have heard nothing. Initially I was told I need to see a consulting doctor during my pregnancy due to a history of heart problems, they have not checked anything, and I am now under investigation for my heart problems. I called and asked why I had no further appointments with them to check the baby considering I am having my own health issues and they said I should have seen a consulting doctor as I was told at the start and they would look in to it, and again I’ve heard nothing with no future appointments booked in.

At the moment it seems like they will not care if anything happens to my baby or me. I guess I will just have to keep calling and wait to see what happens. I hope they improve their services soon, everything had started off well until the level of care expected was lost.

Having read through some of the other reviews about the maternity ward, I am beginning to worry about coming to this hospital.
