"My admission and subsequent experience at LIH"

About: London Independent Hospital

I was referred under the choose and book scheme to the LIH for a laparascopic cholecystectomy.

I made my way to the hospital for 0700 hours on the 16th April.

I got stuck in the blackwall tunnel so I rang to the ward and they told me not to worry but just take it easy and make my way there.

When I got there I was quite stressed out BUT the staff were amazing.

The nurse doing all my observations explained everything.

They got my anaesthetist up to speak to me and also my surgeon.

They could not have been nicer.

They explained everything and made me feel safe and welcome.

Unfortunately my op had to be postponed but I will definitely look forward to coming in next time
