"Care received by my mother at QEUH Glasgow"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Palliative Care

(as a relative),

My mother recently had a short period of inpatient care in ward 7A at the QEUH in Glasgow.  She was admitted with a terminal illness and passed away in the ward.  Throughout her time in hospital her care was excellent.  Staff were kind, compassionate and professional.  From the nursing and medical staff to the catering assistant who provided extra jelly on request everyone went the extra mile to make my mother as comfortable as she could possible be.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone involved, although the experience was traumatic for us all I have no doubt she received world class care.

I am very sorry for your loss, but thank you for your lovely feedback. I work regularly with the team on 7A and know they take great pride in providing high quality care for people at all stages of their illness. I will pass on your kind words to the doctors and nurses - thank you again.
