Just had surgery for cataract six months after macular hole surgery. Once again I was treated with care & respect. All surgery is pretty daunting and I was put at ease, my hand held & asked at all times about my comfort or discomfort during the procedure. They all have a great sense of humour and as I had to have this operation, it was nice to see familiar faces.

Yes, you do wait a long time but I think I understand why everyone is shepherded there all together. Maybe they can pick out the most serious cases on the day and deal with those people first. In which case I am happy I was last on the list!
