"Amazing"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Accident and emergency

I came into the hospital via a and e, I had stomach pains, I had blood tests and was admitted for emergency surgery, the whole process took only a few hours from walking in to having the operation. Everything was explained to me every step of the way and the staff had such brilliant communication skills, putting me at ease and helping me through such a difficult time. After the operation I was given care in the hospital for a further 4 days. Everyone was very encouraging and so helpful. After leaving hospital I was able to call my ward to ask for aftercare advice. And today I had an outpatients follow up appointment where again I received lots of help and advice. Everything has been so straightforward, informative and helpful. The staff at all levels were amazing and I am so grateful to them for looking after me.
