"Fantastic experience"

What I liked

I had an Athroscopy yetserday at Crawley hospital and I was oustounded at the care I recieved from ALL of the staff. I have had many general anaesthetics before and they have not been a pleasant experience at all. The anaesthetist listened to my concerns and I awoke feeling very comfortable and relaxed, which has never been the case before!

The whole process was like been in a 4 star hotel and that is coming from someone who has worked in the Foreign Office and high class airlines as a customer service manager ! Brilliantly efficient staff who chatted with me and put me at ease the whole way through from start to finish. The staff are very very friendly which is quite difficult in a pressurised environment such as a hospital where standards have to be 100% at all times, and not all the patients are pleasant either !

I also came away understanding what has gone on and how to cope at home with bandages/physio/ the future after care etc .

If I ever need anyt medical attention ever again and I go to Crawley ..I will not be nervous they were excellent !!! Thank you to all the staff who dealt with me yesterday - Steve Scharmann
