About: The Crookes Practice

I left a previous negative review which contained no offensive language, only anger which got removed. So trying again.

This practice is the worst I have experienced in Sheffield. You cannot get an appointment with a doctor within 4 weeks, and all "emergency" appointments are with a nurse practitioner who does not have the same level of medical knowledge as a doctor.

Receptionists are mostly rude and uninterested.

Opening times are NEVER accurately outlined online. Yet again I have had to go without essential medication as after trekking down to the practice, there's a note on the door saying closed all afternoon due to staff training. NO mention of closure online or anywhere else. This practice appears to be closed more often than it's open.

Thank for you feed back about the practice - I have updated our website and made our opening times page clearer - I will also post at the top of the page when the practice is closing for training,

We do also post on the practice door in advance when we are closing for any period and when we will be re-opening. When we are closed patients calling the practice are directed to emergency medical help on the telephone or at one of the cities emergency centers.

I hope that these changes are helpful to our patients.
