"Back on the right path for me"

I was really struggling with my mental health during a particularly turbulent time in my life. I was able to access a service through my GP and found this to be both helpful and necessary to avoid going down the medication route (not saying that I wouldn't have, it just wasn't what I wanted to first - and I would have had it been required). My counsellor was amazing and supportive. I initially wanted an answer and felt completely off kilter when he didn't give me on on day one! To be fair it was obvious in that the answer was in me and spending time practising mindfulness and considering my behaviours helped me to get back on the right path for me.
