I was visiting my sister who has suffered strokes and is now disabled and confused at times.
It was necessary to take her to Newark hospital yesterday as she had had a fall and was complaining of pain as well as a urine infection.
The service she received was exemplary - she was seen quickly and with much care by all staff members.
She needed an xray which was completed in minutes and there was nothing broken.
This meant that she had as little disruption to her life as is possible - I was very impressed.
The only problem we had was with the disabled toilet which didn't have grab rails all around it and the seat was much too low for a disabled person to manage - trying to get her on to the toilet did cause her distress and we were unsuccessful in getting a sample anyway.
I do not live in the area and only have experience of hospitals local to me.
Thank you so much for the care you gave her.
