We would definitely recommend the Day Surgery Ward who looked after my daughter and I so well when we went in recently. My very young daughter was quite afraid about her operation but she was made to feel so welcome and all the staff spoke to her directly explaining what would be happening.
They had gone out of their way to make a child's visit to hospital as fun and interesting as they could, including having a motorized car for her to drive down to the operating theatre in.
Their distraction techniques during her having her anaesthetic were also very good and the whole experience was made so much easier for their efforts. We were involved in all decisions and the after care was also brilliant. Thank you so much.
Very helpful staff who went out of their way to be of assistance even sitting with my daughter in Reception while I went to get my car to pick up my daughter from the pick-up bay.
