What I liked
I was treated like an idiot, the doctor was aggressive and disdainful of anything I said about the symptoms. This is the second time I have been referred by a GP and received very shoddy, patronising treatment at Loughborough Hospital.
What could be improved
Doctors should treat patients with at least a modicum of respect. If the patient seems slow it could be their disease and it's no reason to shout at them. Student doctors should not be allowed to make audible disparaging comments about the patient during consultations.
Anything else?
If I'd had the strength after the first time at rheumatology I'd have started a malpractice case because of the verbal abuse from the student doctor which the consultant did nothing to stop.
